Most of All You #Resenha ARC Review

From the New York Times bestselling author of Archer's Voice, Mia Sheridan delivers a heartwrenching new stand-alone contemporary romance.

A broken woman . . .

Crystal learned long ago that love brings only pain. Feeling nothing at all is far better than being hurt again. She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken.

A man in need of help . . .

Then Gabriel Dalton walks into her life. Despite the terrible darkness of his past, there's an undeniable goodness in him. And even though she knows the cost, Crystal finds herself drawn to Gabriel. His quiet strength is wearing down her defenses and his gentle patience is causing her to question everything she thought she knew.

Only love can mend a shattered heart . . .

Crystal and Gabriel never imagined that the world, which had stolen everything from them, would bring them a deep love like this. Except fate will only take them so far, and now the choice is theirs: Harden their hearts once again or find the courage to shed their painful pasts.

Sinopse

Resenha

O que dizer de Mia Sheridan? Que most of all her personagens roubam meu coração sempre..

Review
What can I say about Mia Sheridan? Only that most of all her great characters stole my heart ALWAYS…..

Gabriel is a needy and hopeful boy who had his life transformed after a tragedy that generated a touch aversion in him. Trying to change this situation he ends up enchanted with Crystal.

Crystal erected a wall around her heart as well as wearing a mask of a character she created to avoid facing the bad life she has and surviving human cruelty.

When Crystal meets Gabriel, a wonderful-looking angel with his shy smile and his meekness and lightness, Cristal tries not to have hope of having good people in her life but another tragedy changes everything  and little by little the approach with Gabriel will be able to overthrow her walls and help Crystal to open up to the world.

"Gabriel, a boy who had not let himself forget what love felt like, and me, a girl who had made sure I did not remember."

Again Mia Sheridan comes with a dramatic writing loaded with strong and symbolic elements, beautiful and sweet phrases that made me participate in the plot, cheer for the couple and plunge into a deep reading hangover after that wonderful end. I had no way of drawing parallels with her other great character, Archer, that just as Gabriel is a good man wanting to open up to love.

I suffered a lot with the whole story and found it fantastic how the writer closed the whole cycle of the plot. Both Gabriel and Crystal have striking dreams and these bring a certain magic to the plot, making it look like a modern fairy tale. I as a Catholic as I am saw clearly the finger of God in the lives of the characters and the sweet presence of the angels of their guard in every step and attitude taken.

The great message that love surpasses everything and that gratitude comes from the perception of how our life is valuable and every moment is special have been engraved strongly in my heart.
A book to dream, to smile, to cry and to distress and to love a little more (if it is possible) Mia Sheridan.
