SYNOPSIS:

Delilah Northcutt has been described as weird, nerdy. But her favorite description is quirky. The eccentric flower shop owner definitely marches to the beat of her own drum. On the rebound from a cheating ex, she’s not looking to open her heart to someone else any time soon. On a whim, her best friend convinces her that a one night stand with a stranger she’ll never see again is just what she needs to pull herself out of the funk she’s been living in.

Overly serious, workaholic Richard Locklaine was always described as the brother determined to do the right thing. Even if it was at the cost of his own well-being. What happens when are a cave man and a sweet florist meet each other? An explosion of wild sex. . . .

The book begins already with a sensual night between the couple that meets in a bar and, thanks to Delilah’s inebriation, has a night of hot sex and without obligation, or so Delilah imagined until destiny placed Richard again in her path. He however does not remember who she is. She decides to close her heart until she can forget him.

Many meetings and failures to meet happen with the couple that is involved with the marriage of Richard’s brother and of the crazyness of Devon, Delilah’s best friend and protagonist of the next book in the series.

The two friends gave me many bursts of laughter thanks to musical selection that they choose to cure their sad moments, which they call PB&J ‘s dances parties . Something quite American, isn’t it? Hehehehehe.

I loved too much the way in which the writer drove the friendship of the couple. I loved the resolve of Richard in fighting for Delilah. I loved a specific scene that takes place in a Stripbar. And obviously, I loved this cute cover that shows the puppy Slim Shady which caused many troubles with Richard and that in the end becomes a big fan. I also became a fan, I confess.
